Nothing has introduced its latest true wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear 3, as a global upgrade to its popular audio lineup. Staying true to the brand’s transparent aesthetic, the new design now incorporates metallic elements for a more premium look.
One of the headline features is the Super Mic, a dual-microphone system built into the charging case. This system is capable of cancelling up to 95 dB of background noise, ensuring clear voice capture even in loud environments. It also allows users to record voice notes directly from the case, which are then transcribed into Nothing OS Essential Space for quick accessibility.
The Ear 3 also debuts Real-time Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC), reducing external sound by up to 45 dB. The ANC system automatically adapts every 600 milliseconds and even checks for sound leakage due to improper fit every 1,875 milliseconds, offering a tailored listening experience.
In terms of performance, the earbuds feature 12mm dynamic drivers with a patterned diaphragm, which enhances bass by 4–6 dB and boosts treble by up to 4 dB for a broader soundstage. Power has also been improved, with each earbud carrying a 55 mAh battery, delivering up to 10 hours of listening. Combined with the case, users can expect up to 38 hours of total playback. A 10-minute charge via USB-C provides 10 hours of use, while the case also supports wireless charging.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC support, and low-latency mode (under 120 ms), making them suitable for gaming and video. The earbuds also integrate Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and seamless iOS pairing.
Available in black and white, the Nothing Ear 3 is priced at £179 / $179 / €179, with pre-orders starting September 18, 2025, and sales rolling out from September 25 in select regions. India launch details will be announced separately.
